Swift Creek Mill Theatre in Colonial Heights, VA (near Richmond) will be
performing KEEP ON THE SUNNY SIDE
this Fall from September 15th through October 29th for 23 performances.

HISTORIC TAPE COLLECTION RETURNED TO THE CARTER FAMILY FOLD
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has returned to the Carter Family Memorial Music Center, Inc., in Hiltons, VA, the collection of audiocassettes and DAT tapes of live performances recorded at the Carter Fold from 1981 through 2004, that had been given to the University. |

Sunday, September 27th, 2009, at 1:30 p.m., the Carter
Family Fold in Hiltons, Virginia, will open the newly refurbished and renovated
Carter Family Museum to the public. Following brief comments and recognition of
those involved in making the upgrades to the facility possible, the museum will
remain open until 3:00 p.m. At that time, the celebration will move next door to
the Carter Family Fold with a special concert by Marty Stuart. Museum admission
opening day is free.
